The problem with water proof compression sacks is the air.Not with the Outdoor Research Hydroseal DryCmp AirX Sack.Fill it with gear, roll the top down and compress the sack as much as you can, the air wont get trapped because it features an air permeable/waterproof fabric band that purges excess air from the sack during compression.Air goes out but water cant get in.Fully taped seams and a roll-top closure provide complete water protection.
