The Junior Response features lightweight S2 aluminum alloy shafts rated to 45,000 PSI, so it resists bends far better than a lot of those other no-name discount poles found in a clearance bargain bin. Up top you'll find a cool Joystick Grip that is proportioned just right for kid-sized gloves and mittens. Just above the hardened steel dish tip you'll find Scott's 3.6 disc basket, an aerodynamically-enhanced design with a smaller diameter than Scott's powder disc ski poles.
